  1. FF season consists of duration as agreed by the management which presently is 11 weeks.
  2. A team has won a match when it reaches 10 goals. The only exception is when the lights go off (i.e. Powerleague are closed), then the winning team must have scored 5 goals or more to count as a win. A draw can only occur in this scenario but once again the teams must have scored at least 5 goals each.
  3. An individual player is attributed the team's points as per the normal league scoring system e.g. 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 for a loss. The individual player points is updated on the FF Rankings at www.fridayfootball.net.
  4. It is anticipated that the top two players from the FF Rankings may each get a prize subject to funds being available.

During the match

  1. When the referee makes a decision, even if you think it's wrong, please accept and move on to avoid wasting time.
  2. We play a no back pass rule. This means a back pass to your own keeper may result in a penalty to the opposing team depending on how the referee has interpreted the situation
  3. No slide tackles. This will result in a foul subject to the referee's decision.
  4. Foul play during the match may result in the player being sent off the pitch at the referee's discretion.
  5. We take sportsmanship and Islamic values seriously. If we find any form of harsh play, fighting, swearing, bullying, threatening or unacceptable behaviour, you may be banned from playing. Bans maybe temporary or permanent depending on the seriousness of the incident.
